Because why the FUCK not?
I asked my friends and family about pockets and this is what they said:
I like pockets because you can put robots in them.
My Niece – Phoebe
Pockets are the bane of my life! This is what I constantly find in my pockets: sticks, paper, snotty tissues, coins, sticky things, sweets, stones, little toys, feathers and a lot more! And yet when I want my keys to be there, they never are… But all dresses should have pockets… Because pockets on dresses are awesome.
My Sister – Eleanor
Pockets in dresses are so important! There’s someting so freeing about not having to carry a handbag and just being able to put stuff in your pockets. I get very excited about pockets because they’re such a rarity!
My Friend – April
… men are given more pockets because some douche somewhere believes that men hold all the money.
My Girlfriend – Kelly
For me they are confidence giving. Doing the ‘hands in pockets’ swagger walk makes me feel taller than I am.

… when you find some money in a pocket in a garment you haven’t worn for some time, always seems like a bonus. At the moment many of my pockets contain a mask so that I know I’ve always got one to hand and I will be glad when my pockets can become free again.
My Mum – Sally
Pockets in skirts and dresses are deal-breakers. I have been known to buy an item simply because… ‘but it has pockets…’ Little boys’ clothes seem to have pockets designed for actual use, whereas girls’ clothes seem to just have pointless frills and extra material everywhere for no reason.
My Friend – Helen
The thing I find irritating is that so many women, that’s people I know and what I’ve read, want pockets on their dresses, jackets etc. and we’re told ‘women don’t want them.’
