Alright fuck it, here we go. Let’s talk about the Rwanda policy. Well I’m gonna write and you’re gonna read. And I’ll try not to get too stressed and try not to use too many swear words, so sorry Mum in advance. These cunts (whoops, started already) actually think that flying a few hundred people to Rwanda is going to stop so called ‘illegal’ migration. We’ve already paid £140 million for zero asylum seekers to be flown to Rwanda but we have sent three Home Secretaries on a jolly there to discuss it or have pictures of them laughing like hyenas as they dream about flights taking off full of frightened people.

The Supreme Court has judged that the policy is unlawful. So the government have gone back to the drawing board and said, we’ll pass legislation to make it work, but legal minds far surpassing my squishy grey matter have already stated that new legislation won’t work either. But our government continue to throw money at this shite policy. Continue to wang on about it as if it’s the most important thing in the world. It’s not you fuckwits. Schools are crumbling, more and more families are pushed into poverty due to the cost of living, the NHS waiting lists are getting longer, but noooooooooo let’s concentrate on this unworkable policy, expend all this energy trying to get it to work (it won’t) and flush money down the poopie potty. It’s genuinely maddening.
And they say that the policy is a deterrent as well as in the same breath expounding that Rwanda is a great place to live. It can’t fucking be both. It cannot be a way to try and dissuade desperate people from coming here on dangerous small boats because then they won’t be able to live in Britain and be a bloody good place to live. These morons think we’re thick.
And now numberwang! Net migration for 2022 was a record 745,000 people. The government say this is too high. This is the amount of people the UK has given a visa to in 2022 to come and live and work in the UK, minus the number of people who have a visa and are not British citizens, leaving the UK. In 2022 45,755 desperate people crossed the channel in a small boat and entered the UK via that route. So the government let 745,000 people have a visa and they’re complaining that migration into the UK is too high and yet are concentrating on the 45,755 that were not ‘invited.’ And to combat this we’re going to send like 100 asylum seekers to Rwanda. Simple, if they want to bring immigration down, they could just stop giving people visas and concentrate on the people traffickers who organise the channel crossings to lower that number.
But no, let’s carry on and on about Rwanda as if that’s going to be a saving grace. But it won’t be. If the policy ever gets off the ground, it won’t even scratch the surface of the amount of people coming into this country on a visa. A few hundred against hundreds of thousands. And here’s the dirty truth that none of these tosspot politicians (including Labour because they’re shit scared) will say out loud. The UK needs immigration. We need foreign students to come to our universities because their overblown fees prop up the sector. The NHS and the care sector need foreign workers because there are over a hundred thousand vacancies and we have no one ‘home-grown’ (the fact that I’ve typed that phrase makes me feel ill) to fill them. Without all of these people coming here, we’d be in even deeper shit.
So yeah, Rwanda. Good choices.
