Enter 2025

I started off hot last year, even dropped the C-bomb, but in a slight change of pace for the start of this year, I’m going to hold off on that for this one post. I’ll get onto that further down the line. Enter 2025…

Every year I enjoy having a little recap on the year before, so here one comes. These are the countries the blog has been read in, in 2024:

I genuinely don’t know why anyone would go to the Maldives on their holidays and read my blog. My most read post of 2024 was ‘It’s Been a Long Year.’ A post on the second anniversary of my Dad’s death. Bless you all for reading. Screeching into third place for most read post was one of my Mum’s entitled ‘Electricity.’ Look at Mum making the top three for the second year running. My least read post was my first of 2024, ‘A Brief History of Me and Masque Theatre.’ I welcomed being asked to write for Masque Theatre’s newsletter and I reproduced it in post form for the blog. I’ve just reread the post and I like it, maybe you will too:

With over 1,200 visitors and over 2,600 views the blog continues to crack on, remove the unimportant details and get right to it. I really do appreciate the eyeballs that wander across my weekly outpourings. Thanks. I’m hoping that abridgED can carry on in 2025 and keep entertaining you, the reader.
