Let’s have a little look back on 2025. In 2024 I had 2.6k views and 1.3k visitors. Well in 2025 I smashed these numbers and received 3.3k views and 1.4k visitors. Thank you as always for reading this silly blog. And this year I’ve added audio, like this one that I’m reading right now. See, that’s my voice. (You’ll need to hear the audio for this last to work. And of course the United Kingdom. That’s 52 countries in all, but I reckon some of these is just bots or AI flicking past my little website. I don’t mind, as long as they’re getting something from it. The country count has nearly doubled from 2024 to 2025. Let’s see if I can spread to all of the countries in the world. I got my most visitors in July last year and my most views in August. You lovely people enjoy reading in the summer. Or it’s summer holiday time and peeps have time to waste on this shite.
My most viewed post from 2025 was When We Went To Wales, which was about my little jaunt to Wales with Emily and Belle. Next most read was An Ending, a post from July about the ending of my ‘therapy journey.’ Apparently going for counselling is now a journey. Didn’t feel like that most of the time, just felt like shit, but I do feel better afterwards. Onward, forward. Now someone did a lot of reading last year of past posts so I’ve got loads of one view of some old posts. However the post from 2025 with the least amount of reads is Audio is Here! You bastards couldn’t even click into it, even though there’s no actual text to the post. So I don’t have a recommendation for least read, but I do have a little fav and most important that I think you might want to check out again, On Being English:
It’s important because so much bollocks at the moment is being flung around about what it is to be English and how some people are not to be considered English. And I’m just not here for it. We should be proud of all of our English peoples.
