Boris Johnson’s Achilles’ Heel

I write a bit about politics as you know and I get extremely frustrated with politics as my friends and family know. The other day my Dad said, ‘Why do even look at that? You only get frustrated and you can’t do anything about it.’ He was referencing my phone and twitter where I’d seen our clown of a Prime Minister, Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, making a twat of himself once again in front of the world’s media. And those who vote for him love this sort of shit. It’s one of the reasons they voted for him. Johnson the buffoon! Johnson the ruffle haired clown! A good old boy who you could go down the pub with. But that does not make a good politician. He’s a fucking disgrace in a crumpled suit. And I don’t think the Labour Party are currently equipped to tackle him. Sir Keir Rodney Starmer is just… a suit. He’s a suit, there’s nothing more to him. It seems that he believes the way to tackle Johnson is by taking the higher ground. And I don’t think it’s working. He’s a boring politician and actually probably what we need, but does not cut through with your average punter.

I think I’ve found Johnson’s Achilles’ heel. I was thinking of this a while ago and I saw some anecdotes that gave me some footings in this suspicion and then Prime Minister’s Questions happened last week and that cemented in the bricks of my thoughts. He has no idea how to deal with women. This is partly shown by his multiple dalliances and sexual incontinence outside of marriage resulting in the confusion over how many children he has. I’ve mentioned this before but he has only recently come out in public and confirmed that he has six children with a seventh on the way. And he has no idea how to deal with a woman when she’s coming for him. Angela Rayner took PMQs last week due to Starmer having covid. And she trampled on him. She went for his throat and it showed in his responses that he was rattled.

In parliament it’s customary to speak respectfully to each other and MPs sometimes use the phrase ‘my right honourable friend’ or something to that effect. I’ve noticed this before, but not once did he use that level of respect when speaking to Rayner. And I believe it’s this lack of respect that the Labour party can use. If Johnson believes women are not worthy of the same respect as men, if they are beneath him, bombard him with women. Make him speak to women as much as possible. I genuinely wanted the next labour leader to be someone like Margaret Hodge or Emily Thornberry in 2019. An established parliamentarian, smarter than Johnson, quicker in wit, to run rings around him. Essentially constantly show him up to be the spoilt, work-shy little brat that he is using a mothering like figure. Only then might this fog of bonhomie that he uses as a screen, slip away.
