In a fragile link to last week’s post on anger, today I’m wanging on about a party. Or multiple parties… or one giant orgy that is 10 Downing Street with streamers, funky baboons and lots of booze. A lot of booze. There’s been reports of so many parties, I’m starting to wonder if they do any fucking work. And again, I could wang on about how angry I am about the seemingly constant flouting of rules and/or laws by those who created and set out the rules and/or laws, but everyone else is already on it. They’re covered. Like flies on shit. Me, I want to prattle on about the Bit Part Players, Background Artists and a Pantomime Baddie. Those who are just as culpable but are managing to take a back seat whilst Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson is public enemy number one.

Bit Part Players: Cabinet Ministers, MPs and civil servants. There is no way that this was going on without knowledge of it by a lot of people. And I mean a lot of people. My understanding is that ‘Downing Street’ is comprised of numbers 10, 11 and 12 and 70 Whitehall and over 400 people work at these addresses. And there are hundreds more visitors to these addresses during a business day or connected by email and phone. Now during the time these ‘little gatherings’ were ongoing, there were some work from home orders and so they may not have been fully staffed, but there would have still been a lot of people around. The civil servant, Simon Case, who was meant to be completing the inquiry into these incidents had to quit the inquiry because it has been claimed an event was held in his office! They all knew, they’ve known for months . And yet they never said anything. I hope they feel as guilty as those who didn’t go and see their loved ones before they died. Or the bloke I heard on the radio in tears because he stopped mourners from going into a funeral as there were too many people there.
Background Artists: Lurking in the background, trying to hide in plain sight, doing a shit job of both, are the Metropolitan Police Force, sorry Service and wife to the Prime Minister, Carrie Johnson. The ‘complex’ of Downing Street has one of the largest police presences of any place in the UK. Literally at the gate to Downing Street are multiple armed police. And yet where were they when these parties were held? It’s quite clear they have known all this time. And I believe their reticence to investigate is due to some of this shit landing on them. Well I can tell you now, they stink already and need to give themselves a good look in the mirror. They’re there to uphold the law, not allow those in charge to do whatever the fuck they like. And it pains me to write that because I really do respect the Police Service, but this just looks shit and they look complicit.
Carrie Johnson. That smiley, lovely young lady who seems to have lost all taste and sense and married a big bag of effluent with a blonde mop on top. She turned up to Johnson’s ‘birthday bash’ with a cake and the interior designer in tow. There are rumours that Johnson may have been inclined to up sticks and piss off before now, but he’s being strong-armed into staying because Mrs Johnson has become accustomed to the life. And so he blunders on with her hand up his arse, manoeuvring him like a puppet. Sorry that was grim.
Pantomime baddie: Dominic ‘I thought this wankspangle had been sacked and fucked off’ Cummings is the pantomime baddie, stepping onto the twitter stage with a boo and a hiss from the audience. This boil on the bottom of our most recent political class was there in the garden where the parties happened. He knew. And most likely recorded it all, the snivelling little rat that he is, in the knowledge that he could fuck someone with his ‘evidence’ later. Or hand it to those who may give him a job in the near future. Those who will gain from the downfall of the Prime Minister. Those who may rise as Johnson falls and so end up in a position to decide who is employed and will get D (fuckwit) C back into power to run the show. The maverick outsider that he is. He’s not. Just look into his background. He is part of the ‘elite’ he so wants to destroy. He just wants to be the only ‘elite’ on the block.
So when you look at Johnson bloviating on TV, looking sad and saying sorry, remember there are hundreds of people just like him, lined up behind him that couldn’t give a shit that we all went through the biggest restrictions on our lives in peace time, as they carried on as normal. Lockdown lads? Yeah, but drinks on Friday in the office. And I’m not a Royalist, I have hardly any sympathy for the Queen for many reasons, but every time I see this picture, I see the sheer amount of people that had to endure this as well. And like Her Majesty, they understood their duty.
