When Does it End? – Part 2

What I wrote last week wasn’t my best and it wasn’t really original, apologies. But this shite is everywhere, like when you’re upchucking into the sink as you sit on the toilet with diarrhoea. It’s constant, it’s rancid, you just want it to end. But I wanted to write down some facts in Part 1 to show that Johnson is responsible, like I am responsible, for our respective organisations. If I had allowed gatherings to continue, I would be the one taking the sharp end whereas he constantly ducks and dives and abdicates his responsibilities. And this rot has been infecting his parliamentary party for years. So here are some more facts:

There are to be two by-elections soon. One by-election has been called as an MP has resigned because he was found to be watching porn in the House of Commons. He claims on the first occasion he was looking at tractors and ‘stumbled’ onto the rudey nudeys, but the second time, he was deffo looking at the smutty stuff. Righto. O and he was the gent who went on one of those new right wing shit flinging news stations to say how bad the situation was and when the MP was found who watched the porn, then the book needed to be thrown at them. And it was fucking him all along! The worst episode of Scooby-Doo I’ve ever seen.

The second by-election is because an MP was convicted of child sexual assault and was sentenced to eighteen months in prison. A prison sentence of over twelve months means an MP is immediately removed and a by-election is held. Disgusting. And there has been an MP arrested on suspicion of rape, sexual assault, indecent assault, abuse of position of trust and misconduct in a public office. All three are Conservative MPs. The fish rots from the head. It’s an oldie but a goodie.

Just a quick aside to say that I don’t want to conflate watching porn with child sexual assault or the allegations against the third MP. It’s not the same thing. If you’re nuts for butts (in a consensual way), then have at it, all power to you. However watching porn in the work place is highly inappropriate and does potentially speak to a culture of aggression and oppression of women in a male dominated arena.

The Prime Minister, Prime, number one, doesn’t give a shit that he was breaking his own rules and doesn’t give a shit if his mates break the rules. This seeps down like putrid bin juice and covers all of them. Google the Owen Paterson affair from last year. Johnson is only responsible for his own rank behaviour, but he is responsible for the example he sets and he sets a shite one. And the worst thing for me? It is the Conservative Party’s job at the moment to run the country. And they can’t do that whilst they’re constantly breaking the rules and trying to resuscitate Johnson back to life after every scandal. And those scandals come thick and fast.

There’s one sliver of light. And it’s a tainted sliver, but the longer Johnson clings onto his political career, the more damage it does to the Conservative Party and the less likely they will be returned to government at the next election. But we’ll have to suffer through this zombie government for a couple more years, lurching all over the place with its foul skin sloughing off everywhere.
