When I started to write the blog, I didn’t really have grand plans, still don’t really. Everyone was supportive and over many posts I have gained a lovely following of avid readers. It was a surprise then when friends came to me and said they’d like to write a post. I mean, I did advertise for ‘guests’ to write but I didn’t think anyone would. This post is a thank you to them and a way to boost their posts because they’re amazing and I’m grateful.

First up is my great friend Jo. We met doing theatre and are still great friends to this day. Sadly she doesn’t get involved in theatre really any more behind the scenes but will sometimes be dragged to come and watch shows with me.
Next up is Chris, a gent I met acting in a show last summer. Chris is the current Bard of Northampton, an important position, advocating for poetry in and around Northamptonshire.
John is next with two posts he wrote for the blog. John is a friend of mine who I have acted with and been directed by. I haven’t met anyone who can corral a group of over twenty actors and produce a great show like what John does.
Onto the next guest and it’s Fraser. A solid friend and who is hands down the best amateur actor I know. Having to watch him drink himself to death onstage was mesmerising and horrific all at once.
Hi Mum! The next post was written by my Mum. I’ve known her all my life… somehow, and she’s great. Top tier Mum.
Last, but most recently, is my lovely friend Emily. We met… acting! Who knew? Back in the day we did a few plays together. She’s still involved in theatre, but more in a back seat role nowadays. I’d love to see her onstage again.
