Next Week

I’ve been thinking all week about what to write in this week’s blog. What rabbit pellets of wisdom do I have for you all this week? There’s a lot going on at the minute in my life and I explained some of that last week in my post This Week. Click on the button and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

It’s just been a strange week, a lot going on, a lot to talk about but nothing that I could settle on, quiet my mind and write around five hundred words. Shit is kicking off in politics. Rishi ‘seven bins’ Sunak is cancelling policies that were never policies to begin with because he thinks that the culture war should move onto climate denial. Some shitbag, who has always been a shitbag with shit hair, has turned up in the news and allegedly he’s been a shitbag to women in the past. You won’t see his name or face in my post because he’s a fucking shitbag. And I once again have had a busy week of stress at work, sorting out my new house and all the attendant paperwork you need to do and rehearsals. Rehearsals were fun though. For such an angst ridden play, we’ve been having lots of laughs.

So instead of writing around one topic, I just thought I’d promote a few things that I think are worth a look or worth doing. Mental health and looking after your mental health has become increasingly prevalent and increasingly important in my life. So if you need someone to talk to click on the links below and start the process. The Samaritans are always available for a chin wag and Better Help is a good place to start looking for a therapist.

And so to politics, but not to me whinging about politics and politicians. I really want to encourage you to vote. And if you’re not registered, then I would encourage to register and get a little engaged with politics. Who runs our country is important and it’s important that we do that little bit of exercise and pop down the polling station on voting day. Or whilst you’re registering to vote, you can register to postal vote and you can do it from the comfort of your armchair at home. If anything, if you do vote, you then are eligible to whinge about what fucking shit our politicians are up to now, like me. Click on the button below to register.

And finally I want to promote again, that you can get involved with the blog on a deeper more personal level. You can subscribe below so my weekly posts drop into your email inbox, you can like and share my posts to your family and friends as a good prank or if you’ve got something you’re burning to tell the world, email me at: catchup@abridgedblog.co.uk

Love to the family.
