Controlling Our Borders – Part 3

Welcome to Part 3 of Controlling Our Borders. You can read Parts 1 and 2 by clicking on the buttons below.

And so we’ve built a big part of our government on the fear and dislike of foreigners. Our government have hammered us with disgusting propaganda on why we should fear those other people over there. So in their minds, why would that change when it came to Ukrainian refugees? I’m sure they figured that the great masses would be happy with a system that tempered the refugees that could come to the UK. And yet I don’t think they quite understood the simplicity of the situation. There’s a clear good and evil in this conflict. Lines are not blurred. And so the Great British people stepped forward to help in any way they could and the government were left floundering, playing catch up and having to deal with outrage once again.

Normal requirements for salary or language tests will be waived. Essential security checks will take place, given the malign action being taken by the Russian state to infiltrate Ukraine…

This curious fig leaf of Russian infiltrators was discharged as an excuse for a few days and then its use ran out because everyone saw through it. If some Russian lads want to come here to look at a cathedral and poison someone whilst they’re buying their gifts for their wives back home at the gift shop, they can do that on a tourist visa. And we’ve already let the Russians in on the golden visa scheme set up by the Labour party when they were last in power. Jeez that seems like a long time ago. I can understand why you would want high net worth individuals to be able to come and live and work in your country easily. But this was ultimately used by some as a way for foreign nationals with power and influence to become embedded in our system and inflict their power and influence at a deeper level. So the Russians don’t need to use the cover of fleeing Ukrainian refugees as infiltrators, they’re already fucking here! And to be fair to the current government, they have now shut down the golden visa scheme which was mainly used by Chinese and Russian nationals. I have a barn door I need to shut and a horse that needs rounding up.

And in my opinion, it does seem that the Ukrainian people who have fled are already wanting to go home. They are possibly feeling really guilty because they are safe while their men fight for their country. We are seeing women, children and the elderly flee, not men of fighting age. Those men are being told to stay and fight the invading Russians. They want to go home because they are proud of their nation and want to start rebuilding as soon as possible as a free people. They seem very thankful for the help, they just need a place to stay for a bit.

You can tell how much this has pissed me off because this is continued next week in Part 4.
